Description:

A fully functional portable glass cockpit (EFIS) tailored for general aviation pilots is provided by Horizon, offering intuitive visualizations to enhance situational awareness. This system functions as a backup for all pertinent navigation instruments, compatible with various sensor sources such as internal tablet or smartphone sensors, external SensorBox, and third-party GDL90 devices. Horizon encompasses essential features of a modern glass cockpit on a tablet with the added advantage of redundancy from complete avionics independence. The new intuitive visualizations elevate situational awareness, particularly benefiting private pilots by enhancing flight safety, reducing stress, and ultimately increasing the joy of flying.
